It all started with one microphone in Mike’s basement back in 2020 during the COVID year. A few friends of Jared and Mike started their own podcast without the two of them. So they decided to start a podcast of their own. When thinking about a name for the podcast the reoccurring theme of Nebraska football was swing passes and less talented receivers playing over some of the highly recruited ones. We heard the motto “No Block No Rock” from previous Nebraska receivers coach Troy Walters and that was the motto that became the No Block No Rock Podcast. After doing a couple shows talking about the Golden Boy not being the right guy in charge of the football program Kyle joined the podcast. A year later Connor was promoted from Nebraska Brewing Company fill-in to full time podcast member.
